climate change:
This information shows the moral problem of our times. Humanity doesn’t respect even nature and this will be a problem for all of us.
Thousands of years ago humanity lived in connection with the earth, think about the old Greece that believed in Gods like nymphs of the forest. Ra, the God of sun in the old Egypt, or the God of river Nile. In Buddhism everything has a soul, a tree, a man, a river, etc. And the American Indians believed in the big mum earth and father sun. All of it disappeared with our civilization and now we pay the consequence. The nature needs respect.
If we don’t stop this rhythm we will destroy the earth and ourselves and our world which is too beautiful to be destroyed.
BOOKS
Nietzsche was one of the biggest genious of the las century, he designed a new modern moral far far away from religion. He pretends to change the world changing the moral of humanity. This work was too much for one man and finally Nietzsche went mad years before he was 50 years old.
I recommend his biggest work, a nice book colled “thus spoke Zarathustra” and Zarathustra is a ficticious part of Nietzsche. This book contains all his philosophy.
Basically this book talks about the death of God by men, the eternal recurrence, the “übermenssch”(superman) and the willpower.
His philosophies are focused on destroying the catholic compation and to build a new moral for humans. He wants strong men who follow his ideal and never falling into mediocrity. He pretends to overcome the men.
The Pritzker Architecture Prize:
Announcing the 2011 Laureate: Eduardo Souto de Moura (Portugal)
If you don’t know what the Pritzker prize is I will tell you that it’s the Nobel Prize of Architecture. People like: Oscar Niemeyer (1988), Tadao Ando (1995), Norman Foster (1999), Zaha Hadid (2004) or Jean Nouvel (2008) have won it. But this year the prize goes to Portugal, with Eduardo Souto de Moura.
Eduardo de Moura was born on Porto (Portugal) on July 25, 1952 and at 58 years of age he has won this prize, the biggest honor that an architect can have.
He has worked mainly in his native country, Portugal, basically in private house projects. All of us know about him since he designed the stadium of the Braga in 2004.
His architecture has a strong feeling with the forms and the context of the space. He used to play with wood, aluminium, and ceiling. All of it with minimalism style, because he always thinks that people will live in his buildings.
PERE GIFRE's art
He was born in Figueres in 1974 and he does ICONIK-ART.
His inspiration came from nature and with high-tech hardware he represents his ideas on the PC. After he has studied the structural part and all the engineering aspects. He does technological sculpture, and he’s in the vanguard of the new art.
Basically he represents the nature with sculpture after having gone through this nature on his computer and his structural concepts. Sculptures that take two years of hard work. Water, gases, movments, animals, explosions, etc. that is the amazing part of his work, because he represents that type of moments that the human eye cant’s see.
A good example is the amazing sculpture of a water splash from “La Expo de Zaragoza” or “Winds of Atlanta”, two big works of tones and twenty meters.
MY THEORY ABOUT HEAVEN AND HELL, WHY?
When children are bad, their parents talk about a strange man called bogeyman, who catches bad boys and puts them inside his bag. This bogyman is a technique used to prevent children from doing bad things. Well, when these children grow up and become adults the governments invent an idea of a God that can see them and all their bad actions and they will be judged by him at the end of their lives. This is the reason for religion.
At the end of religions hell doesn’t exist, this idea of hell started with the wars, because people who ran away from the battle or people who don’t help their “brothers” in the battle will be condemned with the most horrible of punishments.
Religions born to control the humanity and make people less animals. Religion was necessary but nowadays it’s time to be free and grow up together.
